After School

After School Tutorial Program is offered to students in grades kindergarten through high school in the Newton county school system and any other student who is in need of help with any subject.
Hours of operation will be 4pm-6pm Wednesday and Thursday. All After School Tutorial Program students should be picked up no later than 6pm with no exceptions.
Our goal is not to leave any child behind. We plan to respond to each child as an individual with special strengths and needs.
Our main focus:
- is to complete homework correctly and monitor the quality of learning that will take place.
- Students will be given enrichment or remedial activities on their instructional level, which will further assess their learning.
- will create a supportive learning environment which will be especially sensitive to the at-risk students.
- work with families to support learning as children tend to succeed not just in school but throughout life.
